Sun Salutations for Beginners w/ Maureen (20 min)

Sun Salutations are a sequence of yoga poses typically used in Vinyasa-style yoga as a way to warm up the body because they are are physically challenging and are an excellent for getting the heart rate up. In Sanskrit, “Vinyasa” can be translated to mean linking breath with motion in a continuous flow. This short session is led by Maureen who studied Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, India for many years. This is introductory lesson is a great way to start your day or use as an afternoon pick me up. You can do it everyday for better cardiovascular health and serves and a great foundation to your own personal yoga practice.
